Who Is the Strongest Person in Cobra Kai Season 6? The Answer Finally Settles the Debate

Cobra Kai purposefully left the question open for years. The All-Valley is won by Miguel. Robby takes the lead. Sam shows her value. With every season, the power rankings changed, but they were always vague enough to fuel debate in YouTube comment sections and Reddit threads. The game was eventually stopped in Season 6, Part 3.

Miguel Diaz and Tory Nichols were the two names that stood out above the crowd by the time the Sekai Taikai came to an end. They were crowned the male and female champions of the competition, and the show confirmed it as clearly as it has ever confirmed anything. The moment was not quiet. It seemed like the culmination of six seasons of hard work.

Miguel’s route to the title was the most logical one from a narrative standpoint. Since the first episode, he has been the main character in this show. He is the child that Johnny Lawrence reluctantly teaches, the one who wins the first All-Valley and basically starts everything. Witnessing a character who began at the bottom of the food chain rise to the top of a global stage is satisfying. The most obvious statement the series could have made was his triumph over Axel, the powerful male captain of the Iron Dragons and perhaps the most physically intimidating teen fighter it has ever featured.

Here, Axl merits praise of his own. He was the name that nobody wanted to confront for the majority of Parts 2 and 3. He appeared to have come from a different, more dangerous show because of his combination of offensive power and defense. Robby Keene, who was generally regarded as Miguel’s closest rival throughout the series, was unable to overcome him and ended up breaking his leg in the process. It was painful to witness Robby’s Sekai Taikai run come to an end due to that injury. By now, Robby and Miguel were practically brothers, and Robby had earned his place as Miyagi-do’s captain through a genuinely fierce rivalry. It hurt a little to watch him go out that way.

On the female side, Tory’s title was equally well-deserved. Her storyline has been one of the more convoluted throughout the series, going from villain to redemptive figure to something more difficult to describe after her mother’s passing caused her to turn back toward Kreese. It’s possible that the weight she carried into the Sekai Taikai made her performance more captivating.

It was a real battle when she faced Zara Malik of the Iron Dragons in her final match. Zara is quick, technically accurate, and exudes confidence as if she had never thought about losing. Tory’s ability to outlive her made a statement.

As is nearly always the case, the adult side of the conversation returns to Daniel LaRusso and Johnny Lawrence. Neither of them were diminished in Season 6. In particular, Johnny felt like a man who had at last come to terms with his identity and knowledge. Cobra Kai could have ended with one of them being obviously superior to the other in one version of the story, but the show wisely avoided that. They are friends. For two characters who had been at odds with one another for five seasons, it seemed like the perfect conclusion to watch both of them lead Miguel and Tory to their individual titles.

It’s important to remember that before his passing completely altered the course of the season, Kwon Jae-Sung, the combative South Korean captain introduced in Part 1, had a genuine chance to change the entire conversation. One of the most intense fights in recent memory took place between him and Robby. Kwon had an uncoached, almost instinctive killer instinct that eventually overtook him. In a way, Cobra Kai has been teaching this lesson from the start: raw power without discipline rarely ends well. His story ended violently and somewhat abruptly, but it did serve as a reminder.

In the end, Season 6 proved that the world’s strongest fighters aren’t just the most aggressive or technically proficient. Because Miguel and Tory were molded by every mentor, opponent, and defeat that preceded the Sekai Taikai, they triumphed. They weren’t produced by the competition. It merely formalized the response.

She writes about politics in Missouri and Kansas as someone who genuinely cares about what happens to the people in these communities—the policies that impact them, the leaders who represent them, and the civic forces influencing their futures—rather than as an outsider watching from a distance. Her editorial coverage encompasses state-level policy, local government, and the national political currents that permeate bi-state regional life. Whether it's a city council vote or a Senate race, she has a special gift for turning complex policy language into writing that feels urgent, relatable, and worthwhile. Sierra seldom sits still off the page. She claims that playing soccer on a regular basis has sharpened her instincts for political reporting because of the sport's teamwork, strategy, and requirement to read a changing game in real time. She's probably somewhere in Kansas City with her friends when she's not writing or on the pitch, discovering new reasons to adore a city she already knows so well.
