Coco Jones Just Got Married — And the Wedding Guest List Was Something Else

At some types of celebrity weddings, the guest list alone lets you know where each person has arrived. On Saturday in Greenwich, Connecticut, Coco Jones and Donovan Mitchell said their vows. From across the dance floor, Jaylen Brown was filming Jalen Brunson. The couple was hyped up like family by Ciara and Russell Wilson, who were in the front row. They had Bam Adebayo there. The DJ asked for noise for “Mr. and Mrs. Mitchell,” and videos that went around over the weekend showed that everyone in the room happily obliged.

Jones, who is 28, married the Cleveland Cavaliers guard in what was called a “intimate ceremony.” However, “intimate” is a strong word to use in a room full of All-Stars and a Finals MVP. It felt like a cultural moment that night, even though no one was really trying to make it one.

The couple was first seen together in public in September 2024, when they were photographed holding hands at an Usher concert in Las Vegas. As origin stories go, this one fits for two people who clearly take music seriously. In July 2025, they got engaged while on vacation. Jones posted the ring to Instagram in a relaxed, matter-of-fact way that people do when they’re truly happy, instead of acting happy. At the time, they said in a clear statement, “After an amazing season and a sold-out tour, Donovan Mitchell and Coco Jones took a moment to recharge on vacation, which turned into a beautiful engagement.”

After the engagement, Jones said something that stuck with her. Mitchell “goes really hard for the things they love,” she said, and she said it was a blessing to have a partner who understood that kind of ambitious, work-first life. She might have been thinking about how much of her own life has been spent slowly and steadily building up to something over more than a decade.
